Stock crash what to do..?

In Me investing on September 15, 2008 at 5:29 pm

With spirit of investing, I tried to buy some stocks with my savings in a hope that the I can get more return than the bank deposito. I was thinking that this is the right time to buy stocks as the price is already down by almost 30% for some companies… so starting May 2008, I read about stock market, how to identify a winning stock, read financial report and based on some “expert” recommendation, I  start building  my portfolio.

Following is the stock in my portfolio

At first I managed to get some profit, but in just few weeks I lost 30% of my savings, and I do not have a heart to cut lost it…

Day after day seems that the bad news is never ending… Oil price is dropping (so other energy related product such as CPO, Coal etc). US finance sector is collapsed, money flowing back to US due to higher interest rate etc etc… I do not know what the bottom of this things.

But I don’t give up, I see it as a super cycle, Indonesia has the highest growth of share price increase in the past few years. So what to do then….?

Me, I will patiently waiting the price to bounce back, and if I got some money to be invested then I will buy some more share. See it as you buy some share on the discounted price… :-). I believe that for some companies who have a good fundamentals will quickly recover, so now I close my laptop and wont look at the share price tell I invest some more.

If you are caught in this crash.. do not worry, you are not alone he he he…
