Buku Baru Tentang Dahlan Iskan

Beberapa hari yang lalu Pak Ishadi S.K (Petinggi Trans Corp.)membagikan buku kebeberapa orang, termasuk saya. Beliau ternyata adalah editor dari buku yang baru tentang Dahlan Iskan. Pada dasarnya buku ini semacam bunga rampai, tulisan dari berbagai pihak baik dari sisi wartawan, Pengusaha, Mahasiswa, orang dalam PLN dll.

Setelah membaca buku ini, kita bisa menyimpulkan bahwa Dahlan Iskan mendapatkan tekanan yang luar biasa ketika mulai menjalani tugas yang diembannya. Saya masih ingat ketika awal beliau akan diangkat, beliau berdialog di TV One dengan seseorang karyawan PLN dengan baju gamisnya. Continue reading →

The Biggest Risk People Can Take Now is Not Acting

How true, an independent trader told BBC what we should do in the time of recession.

“The first thing people should do is protect their assets, protect what they have. Because in less than twelve months, my prediction is the savings of millions of people gonna vanish. And this is just the beginning. So I would say, be prepared and act now. The biggest risk people can take right now is not acting.”

Antara Padang-Palembang

Get bored…? why not doing something a bit crazy… how about long distance overland with 45 years old Landrover, ya why not…  its gonna be fun…. :)

Most importantly your hobby may lead to your passion and your passion may lead you to your success

Too many choices..?

One nice thing to have nowadays compare to several decades ago is:  we are now have vast array of choices, look at shampoo for example, there are more than 1500 SKUs available in the store, which one is the best for you?

Tell you what.. they are all the same, just select randomly, you will have a pretty good chance that the brand or particular SKU is good for you. Yes one probably slightly better than the other, but do not waste your time too much on making decision, just choose one and move on.
