Kabar Pagi TV one – Best talk show

I think I have to congratulate TV One especially for their “Kabar Pagi” Segment. I have been watching this program for about a year or so and compare it with other TV station on the similar program. To date, I think “Kabar Pagi” is the the best “news talk show”.  If I can give them an award, I will give them, but who am I giving a TV station an award :) .

Anyway, why I think Kabar Pagi TV One is the best?

  1. They managed to invite very relevant and up to date guest
  2. The discussion is lively, no personal judgment from the anchor
  3. The anchors / hosts is quite good in fishing some of the information
  4. Looks simple but modern and smart.

Those four combination made this program very enjoyable to watch. And they consistently do it in past one year. I am yet to see other program is doing better than Kabar Pagi TV ONe. Even other TV One Talk show hosted by Tina Talisa for example, in my opinion is not up to “kabar Pagi” in term of Anchor ability to make the discussion flow lively.

Keep the good work “Kabar Pagi” TV One, I really enjoy the program… And I hope that others, #I am looking at you, Metro TV# will give them a serious competition.

What the duck is doing in here?

The duck is here to represent the place for an ad, and why now there is an ad in this blog…?

  1. I want to know, how much is this blog worth, so why not giving a place for ad, at least it can cover my hosting fee (if any would like to support it)
  2. I find it rather boring to have just word, an ad or two will spice it up.
  3. All pro blogger have some ads, so adding ad will give me a “pro” feel for the blog :)

And She Is Only 10

Yesterday I found this blog : http://jellyjellybeans.blogspot.com. At first I could not believe my eyes, I am reading a perfect English blog, Chirpy, full of energy from someone who very passionate about Fashion and SHE IS ONLY 10… Yes.. she is Indonesian girl aged 10 years old. Can you imagine that..? A 10 years old girls write a blog..?

She seems very relax and feel at home in writing the blog, she is not (yet) thinking to monetize the blog even though I am sure  she got enough visitor to make other blogger jealous. You won’t see any banners, or adsense, affiliate link etc, only a pure lively chitchat sharing her thoughts about fashion.

That whats make her blog really enjoyable. To me, this is a case in point showing that for current generation, technology is their toy and  the net is their play ground. Clicking her links I found that many other youngster are expressing their views and “playing” on the net. It really make me proud that more Indonesian now very internet literate and use it in a very very good way.

To Evita Nuh and others, if you reading this post, I just want to say that I am really proud of you, keep a good work play and thank you for teaching an old dog like me what a passion really means.

Is Dubai a Bad Idea..?

Before you read this… which one do you think, Dubai is bad idea or good idea… ? c’mon vote now… it’s gonna be fun…

Dubai is very fast growing market, it has the tallest building in the world and and have 6  star hotels. When bubble burst, every body seems talking about how bad idea Dubai is. I have a chance watching the Doha Debate from CNN, one of my favorite program. The title is the motion

On the side of supporting the motion said: Dubai is bad ideas because:

  1. It just went too fast without strong basic fundamental supporting it
  2. It creates human right problems, especially for the workers
  3. It create huge environmental problems (carbon foot print is very high considering the size of the country)
  4. It almost wiped out the cultural life and have no sense of preservation on the cultural side
  5. The infra structure build mostly for the foreign, while the own people have to live with dirty road and low quality of educational system.
  6. With most of the investor now gone… what are going to do with all new and shiny infrastructure…?

The one who against the motion said: its good idea because:

  1. Dubai provide multi cultural environment, nowhere in Arab world do such things
  2. Its beacon of hope… once the natural resources died… what next
  3. Its a hub to enter the middle east market
  4. Environment..? no one did it anyway, look at US and EU or China… did they do anything?
  5. Should we imposing our culture to others..? Ask them what to wear, what to drink according to our culture?
  6. All those things is for their own people, if the economy grows, the people will benefit from it.
  7. Human right problems is everywhere in fast pace developing nation, but the gov. trying very hard to solve it.

Now if you have to vote again… are you still the same side of the motion as before reading this..? To tell you the truth.. its still very hard for me to decide… who ever rule Dubai… its just completely insane or he probably visionary looking far a head and fast. If I have to choose now, I will say ” a good idea”, yes its seems terrible now, but the they will learn and  slowly building up their business to make the best of the new and shiny infrastructure.

The good thing is.. if you want to start business in Dubai now… its probably good time, they have discount for every single thing.. :)

Always know who to bribe…

She supposed to be in jail for bribery case to some member of AGO (Attorney General Office). I don’t know how she got all the luxury facility… in Jail… look at that, amazing isn’t it… this not all, her friend even got a karaoke room..!

Now.. if you call this a jail, you should see my apartment.. :) , and wait… look who is defending  Artalyta special treatment… read yourself here
