Vuvuzela bakalan dilarang?
Sudah 3 hari piala dunia berlangsung dan kelihatannya banyak yang terganggu dengan penggunaan vuvuzela oleh supporter Africa ini. Well Like it or not, it is the sounds of Africa, they live with it for many generations and they seems already imune to that sound. The noise level is around 113 dB(A) from 2 meters which is supposed to be dangerous for the unprotected ears.
The players get anoyed because they can not communicate effectively, the commentator also annoyed… see if you also get annoyed by watching this video for two minutes… and this happen 90 minutes nonstop. enjoy..

[dropcap2]B[/dropcap2]eberapa hari yang lalu Nielsen mengeluarkan beberapa data yang berhubungan dengan Piala dunia. Ada beberapa hal yang menarik untuk dicermati:
Siapakah Fans/Bobotoh/Bonex:
- Lebih dari separuh (54%) orang Indonesia menyatakan bahwa mereka fans sepak bola. Terdiri dari 68% laki laki dan 30% wanita.
- Bandingkan dengan hanya 28% saja orang di Asia pacific dan 34% secara global yang menyatakan mereka fans bola. wanita yang suka bola di asia pasifik sekitar 16%
Siapakah Calon juara 2010? orang Indonesia menyatakan:
- Brazil (24%)
- England (22%)
- Spanyol (11%)
- Lucunya 50% dari orang amerika mengatakan teamnya akan membawa pulang piala tersebut… narsis banget ya ha ha ha…
Produk apa saja yang bakalan naik penjualannya saat Piala Dunia (diambil dari data piala dunia tahun 2006)
- Kacang naik 72%
- Cigarette naik 37%
- Energy drink naik 35%
- Snack naik 28%
- Softdrink naik 19%
Jadi memang cukup pas kalau produk diatas beriklan kencang saat di piala dunia…
Anehnya.. dengan segitu banyak fans, Indonesia nyari beberapa orang yang bisa main bola susah banget ya… Pak Andi Malarangeng.. gimana tuh kabar munas sepakbola di Malang kemaren…? Jauh panggang dari api.. berantem mulu

There is no excuse not being creative or not innovate, as these guys demonstrated, the big hit songs only need four chord… yes it’s four chord only which are E,B,C#m,E or D,A,Bm,G. Just make it louder, whisper, longer, slower, higher pitch etc according to your wild imagination, a bit of sync, add some marketing activities, PR and if you are lucky it can be a hit… .

Plasa.com is life again
First of all congratulation to Plasa.com who just relaunched their services yesterday. I am sure most of you already forgotten this portal website. It started long time a go when the internet penetrations in Indonesia is still very low. Like most of the dot-com venture, it got hit by dot-com bubble burst and it is in “coma” condition since then.
Now it seems that PT. TELKOM is injecting quite big fund (rumor says: it is about two trillion rups) around Rp. 20 billion to make it life again. I think it is a good move when the Internet penetration is now in double digit, and we also start to buy things from internet, Plasa.com wil have a big potential to be success.
Warning to all brick and mortar store… it is another competition for you, luckily if you can’t fight them, you can Join them. However it is not free serice, Plasa.com will take.. I don’t know (based on rumor)… 10% ? (can some one correct me if I am wrong) from transaction value. If it is true, it will be a huge turn off for most of us. 2.5% – 5% is about right IMO.
Update: I just got a confirmation that Plasa.com will write off any transaction fee in 2010, this is a very good chance to try the service. They will build the community and we sell them to their community. If it is work, you can relax and see the order coming in from this portal. If you think the transactional fee is too high… just do this they are business people, they talk business
I just register today and try few things, some features (like iklan baris) not yet up and running. Seems to me that Plasa.com is still trying to be “everything” there is a “free blog” facility for their members, which I am sure they will be a light year behind blogspot.com or wordpress.com in terms of features. Will Plasa.com try to compete with them? Instead of doing all of this, why not having a Indonesian blog directory? I am sure it will be much better for the community.
All and all, congratulation to Plasa.com for the re-launch, I am sure, with a strong finance back up and managed by a strong professionals team, I expect Plasa.com will be different and very consumer focus in the very near future.
Kabar Pagi TV one – Best talk show
I think I have to congratulate TV One especially for their “Kabar Pagi” Segment. I have been watching this program for about a year or so and compare it with other TV station on the similar program. To date, I think “Kabar Pagi” is the the best “news talk show”. If I can give them an award, I will give them, but who am I giving a TV station an award .
Anyway, why I think Kabar Pagi TV One is the best?
- They managed to invite very relevant and up to date guest
- The discussion is lively, no personal judgment from the anchor
- The anchors / hosts is quite good in fishing some of the information
- Looks simple but modern and smart.
Those four combination made this program very enjoyable to watch. And they consistently do it in past one year. I am yet to see other program is doing better than Kabar Pagi TV ONe. Even other TV One Talk show hosted by Tina Talisa for example, in my opinion is not up to “kabar Pagi” in term of Anchor ability to make the discussion flow lively.
Keep the good work “Kabar Pagi” TV One, I really enjoy the program… And I hope that others, #I am looking at you, Metro TV# will give them a serious competition.
