Picking someone else brain

No one can be expert on many things. Human can exist and reign the world because they have the ability to learn and share knowledge and work together in such a complex way. If one of the insect can do the same, I am sure human existence will be under the mercy of cockroaches.

As social creature, we constantly learn from someone else consciously or not, but consciously picking someone else brain will giving us a specific piece of knowledge to solve our unique problem.

We join a forum, discussion groups, become a fan of Facebook page, following certain hash key in twitter simply because we want to pick someone else brain. It is completely OK if we just observe while learning, but the more active we are to more we gain as a groups.

Can you imagine if  all member of forum discussion is just observing and not sharing, the forum will have no value to the group member. Hence if you are part of the group, might as well be active, do not afraid commenting or asking questions, is part of the learning.

To effectively pick someone else brain, we also need to give something in return, be active, be proactive, share ideas, share provoking thoughts, share your problems to your crowd and I am sure you will gain more knowledge than just observing.

Leave that thing behind

If we go socializing with friends, attending a birthday party, or having dinner with family, try to leave our gadget behind or put it deep inside our pocket so we will only use it when someone call us. With all the easy connection to internet and social media, it is very tempting to update status in twitter or Facebook about what happen.

Although what we want is telling the world how great our night out is, our friends may not know and have false assumption that we are not enjoying the party. Especially if our status update got reply from other friends, we may end up “chatting” with our online friends rather than the real person that you currently hang out with.

Our friends may tolerate a (urgent) phone call, but BBM chat and status update will distance us from our offline friends. So leave that things behind start chatting or twitting with the real one. Afterward we can tell the world how we enjoy our “real” friends company.

Luna maya VS Infotainment whos side are you on…?

Me..? definitely Luna Maya… :)

I do not want to talk about what happened.. just Google : “Lunamaya vs Infotainment”. To cut the story short, Luna Maya wrote in her twitter account

“Infotemnt derajatnya lebh HINA dr pd PELACUR, PEMBUNUH!!!! may ur soul burn in hell!!…”

I am sure she is frustrated with all the things… so she dump off the chest her frustration by writing this in her twitter account. Certainly some will agree to that and some (mostly the infotainment worker)  want to go to court.

What to do then…

If you do not want to deal with Infotainment worker, consistently say “no comment” just like Dessy Ratnasari I think is the best way to shoo them off.  And she still exist till now…

When things get messy like Nicky Astria which the infotainment worker block her car, Firing a gun like Parto is very effective too, but surely I am not recommend it.  BTW Parto  still very much exist in the entertainment business.

So if one say that your career will be ended if  infotainment worker boycotting you, don’t believe them, it  is pretty much a myth or urban legend.  Gossip program / channel is not the best way to project your image anyway.
